In the phases of theoretical training, the students will both get the basic proficiency of engineering and be taught specific knowledge in the disciplines of design/development as well as production technology. A special emphasis will be put on teaching in the solution-oriented processing of engineering tasks. Study projects and practical work will contribute to this in a special way.
Phases of practical training in training companies
The students will be taught basic manual and mechanical skills and knowledge. These include, for example, forming, prototyping, joining, as well as data processing and electrical engineering. In these different disciplines, the students will also get practical knowledge of business management. The cooperation in projects will provide training how to work according to acknowledged engineering standards, and the systematic practical jobs will give a high level of social and methodic competence. All this will enable them to think interdisciplinary. In the final bachelor thesis, the students will have a chance to show that they are able to process a practice-related issue independently within a specified period by using practical and scientific expertise and methods.
