While we have decades of combined experience in micromachining and development of medical device components, our team is hungry for new challenges and constantly striving to meet our stated goals of excellence and quality.
Dr. Andreas Schuessler
President and CEO of Admedes Schuessler, Dr. Andreas Schuessler, brings a rich background of academic science and practical experience to the company he founded. Dr. Schuessler attended the Max Planck Institute from 1984-87 and completed his post doctoral work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1987-88. He continued his post doctoral work at the Research Center Karlsruhe in the early 90's and focused on the area of laser machining of various materials. In the time since, he has been a part of the commercialization of many successful devices available today and marketed by our customers. Throughout the past couple of decades, Dr. Schuessler has actively published his findings and spoken frequently at many technical conferences.
Advancements in new areas of medicine, such as Interventional Cardiology /Radiology or Minimally Invasive Surgery, depend on increasing functionality and miniaturization of devices and components. We believe that functional materials such as Nitinol and other exotic medical grade alloys and micromachining technologies play a key role for a range of new applications.
We at Admedes Schuessler are dedicated to provide components from Nitinol (and other materials) and related services with the highest possible quality to the medical device community.
Additionally, we will seed innovation both internally and externally to ensure that the best technologies are available to our customers for them to remain competitive.
To achieve this, we have established an organization of dedicated people that believe the search for excellence has no finish line.
