Dr. Andreas Schuessler

President and CEO of Admedes Schuessler, Dr. Andreas Schuessler, brings a rich background of academic science and practical experience to the company. Dr. Schuessler attended the Max Planck Institute of Materials Research in Stuttgart from 1984-87 and completed his post doctoral work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1987-88. He continued his professional career at the Research Center Karlsruhe in the early 90’s pioneering laser micro-machining techniques for nitinol materials. Since then, he has played a part in the commercialization of many successful devices, which are marketed today by many of our customers. Throughout the past couple of decades, Dr. Schuessler has actively published his findings and spoken frequently at many technical conferences.
